Tug of War, Titan VS F250

Ok, in the past I had a 2000 Nissan Xterra and was challenged to a Tug of war by a buddy that has a F250 diesel. He had some wood in the bed and was going to be in 2WD. I was in 4LO. We hooked up and it was a stalemate, he couldnt move me and vice versa.
So now I have a Titan and I have been challenged again, He still has the same truck but I think this time we will both be in 4WD. Now I have a OR so I can lock up the back, whereas he in his POS ford has open diffs front and back. Do you think I can beat him? We both have the same tires and his truck is bone stock as is mine other than leveling kit. Thanks in advance guys....

Re: Tug of War, Titan VS F250

That's not even a fair contest. The Titan is a 1/2 ton truck the F250 is a 3/4 ton truck. The Ford would win hands down.

Now a Titan against a F-150 the Titan would win easily.

The Ford would most likely win.

Re: Tug of War, Titan VS F250

You are going to do this on a non paved surface of course so who's tires are better. It'll be contact pressure that wins, he already has you on weight so if he has good skinny rubber he'll drag you all over the place. The only thing you can hope to do is dig a hole that he can't pull you out of. With his weight advantange you should request he remains in 2wd while you use 4wd. Then for fun lock them both in 4wd and romp the hell out of them. Please video this.

Re: Tug of War, Titan VS F250

why would you do something that could damage the truck? I guess it's fun but these are pricey trucks to do something that "could" cause some expensive damage.

He also stated he was in 4wheel low, and the ford was in two wheel drive. Still hard to believe that the F250 didn't out pull him though.

Re: Tug of War, Titan VS F250

My last truck was a superduty 4wd powerstroke and I wouldn't try pulling it, You're gonna probrably break something,(hate to see that happen) That superduty is an animal.
