Today my truck is two. The mileage is approx. 38,500 and still drives flawlessly. The only warranty repairs performed was the brakes, and I bought the truck knowing this may happen (perfect now) and the door cables would freeze in winter (perfect now too). This truck has ZERO squeaks, rattles, and or other annoyances that have been reported by others.
I will buy another Titan without hesitation and urge anyone reading this to do so. Don't let rumors (spread by jealous closed minded big three owners) scare you away.
It's also been a pleasure to spend the last two years here on Titan Talk.

You have two choices in life:
You can stay single and be miserable,
or get married and wish you were dead.
I agree the only major problem i've faced was the brake recall... while I've noticed a few interior squeaks lately since the temp has dropped, but it might have been a result of me mounting a navigation system in various spots.
i would definitely buy another titan and would love to have the power rear window!
the only problem i have with my titan is figuring out exactly how i want to costumize it... post warranty (i paid for it, might as well not void it, still researching this here though)
i've had about the same experience in the same amount of time and mileage as well. My two years are coming up mid month with 39K traveled. I've had the brake fix and tranny cooler line fix done. It still pulls like a dragster, my only wish would be to have big tow mirrors, power rear window and tailgate assist.
Once I upgrade the diff's it should be the perfect truck. If I could go back I wouldn't go Nissan, but since I'm here and almost have all the wrinkles out I'm keeping her and my smile! Still a great looking truck-

it's a hydraulic "helper" that keeps the tailgate from smashing down when opened. also helps to keep you from pulling your 'upper dorsimus' muscle while you do it.
i'm like you too; just barely hit 20K on my 2004. i hope to keep this thing for at least 5-6 more years!
my goal is to pay it off (20k left maybe) then take the payment i was making and shift that to accessories. i'd like to keep the truck for as long as i can!
the power assists sounds like a nice option, i understand what you mean about the tailgate dropping....
Well there always has to be one negative guy so here I am! My truck is not quit two yet but I've only owned it for one month. It is currently sitting on blocks in the shop with the axle seperated from the front differential and the $1 C-clip to fix it not in stock. I'm a die hard Nissan guy, that's all I've ever owned but I have to say so far this truck is not living up to my standards. I don't expect to have to upgrade drivetrain components to get the truck just to be able to drive me to work. It's certainly not able to do that right now anyway. I hardly consider driving to the restaurant to have coffee during break time hard use, but that's all it took to pop the axle out. Now I'm stuck driving around in my wife's RELIABLE Acura. Hmmmm . . .
Maybe it's just me, but even with my loyalty, Nissan just doesn't seem to be cutting it anymore. And to top it off, the Toyota guys at work are driving me to coffee now! Maybe they were right all along!
