Quote:
"The driver's side was caved in at an angle and my mother was pinned in ... The entire driver's side was completely flattened,'' said Stogsdill, a customer service representative at a business supply company. "I didn't know what to think.''

Rescuers had to remove the van's front passenger seat and take Stogsdill out of the SUV through the passenger-side sliding door.

Despite the heavy damage from the truck turning over on to her mother's vehicle, the daughter said rescue workers told her her mother appeared to have suffered few or no injuries.

"They told me she was fine,'' Stogsdill said. "They said her vital signs were stable.''

Re: Tough Little Pathy

So where is the crushed SUV? All I see is a Bad-A Nissan holding up freaking semi-truck.

The crushed side would be the one not facing you

Notice the angle of the trailer...smushola...

Still...lucky to be alive. I'd be sending a six pack to nissan engineering...

Re: Tough Little Pathy

That's pretty amazing she wasn't hurt too badly. Now this raises a question in my mind. If I'm sitting waiting for a train, and there's a tractor trailer on the tracks beside my vehicle, and there's a good chance it will be struck by the train and pushed into my vehicle....I think I'd be moving my vehicle! I'm not insinuating by any means that it was her fault. But if you don't look out for you, what makes you think the rest of the world will. Basic self preservation. I'm just glad she is alright.

Makes me even happier I own a 2007 Pathfinder too. Glad the woman is ok.
She definately needed a new pair of undies after that....
