toyota been peeking

back on 6/5/06 i posted a thread called high performance titan and i just put some pretty good numbers to it that your avg. joe can buy. numbers like 385 hp and 430 lb ft of torque and i didnt have a clue what toyota was doing with the new tundra. they must have been peeking at titan talk because the numbers are not that far off 381hp,401 trq. i just wished nissan had done some peeking.

Re: toyota been peeking

I doubt Toyota was peeking at your thread, but it would be nice to have those numbers for our engines!

Re: toyota been peeking

i wasnt really being serious about them peeking but i just wanted to show what i was thinking back then for our trucks vs what toyota actually put in their tundra. i know they have some smart people over there and dont need to come here for ideas. i was just having fun with the numbers and GMs 6.2 is also in the ballpark with those numbers. now nissan just have to answer the bell.

Re: toyota been peeking

Man those numbers would be great!

I want worse fuel milage NOW!!!

If 10/14 was not bad enough with 305 hp, bring on 350+ w/ 7-10 mpg.

305 is plenty of power! New exhaust, CAI & 2 degress adv & you have more than most people would ever need.

The need for rice car speed in a truck is getting ridiculous! Let Toyota win for a few years, Nissan will answer eventually around '09-'10.

btw, since most of you voted in the new majority, get ready for the smackdown on the auto makers and the need for a better mpg/environmental concerns. And then Hillary/Obama in '08 will make it even worse! lol
