Keeping the performance, through maintainence

I am just checking for maintainence work I can do on the truck (or the dealer) that will keep the trucks performance up to par with when I got it. I know I have a owners manual, but not everything is critical for the dealer to do. Some of it is ticky tacky.
I have an 04 SE CC 4x4. 26,000 miles
I have done or had the following done already:
1. Regularly scheduled oil, oil filter and air filter changes (me)
2. Rotate tires on schedule, have BFG TA Ko's, stock size (me)
3. Alignments when needed, twice (tire company).
4. Diff front and rear oil changes (me).
5. Rear Diff assy, replaced, no performance issue, just clunk noise (Nissan).
6. Brakes upgraded, no issues, just done under Nissan TSB upgrade (Nissan).
7. Engine Coolant system service/change/test (Nissan).
8. Battery replaced (Sears).
9. Monitor all engine fluids etc....(me).

I know I will be getting done in the next few months
1. Tranny fluid swap (Nissan).
2. Transfer case fluid swap (Nissan).

Do I need the following done any time soon?
1. Throttle body cleaned?
2. Fuel filter changed?
3. Anything else thay will keep her running true?

Re: Keeping the performance, through maintainence

I usually do the fuel filter at every 30,000 miles. It's my own rule. I also did an intake plenum cleaning on my last truck at around 100,000 miles. It made quite a difference after the removal of all that carbon buildup.

I thought that the fuel filter was not a serviceable item on our trucks?

Re: Keeping the performance, through maintainence

That may be correct. But since I only have 19000 miles on my truck, I haven't had to deal with it yet. Have to look into that.....

Re: Keeping the performance, through maintainence

you go inside the gas-tank to change out the fuel filter? these are designed to last the life of the truck.

I don't think I'd fit inside the gas tank. Yeah, I just saw the other thread about it. Getting ugly over there, even without a picture of Kenny.....

Re: Keeping the performance, through maintainence

the fuel filter is indeed inside the tank and its a series of filters made into the pickup of the fuel pump.....

Re: Keeping the performance, through maintainence
