Re: Top Speed

Some guy said he could draft trucks at 140mph, but maybe that was in a GMW.

Re: Top Speed

The "S" rated tires that come with it are the reason for the rev limiter.
I would leave it alone until installing at least some "H"rated weenies!
Oh and those crazy bastards at Titan Talk the drive the crap out of their trucks scare the lawyers! ha ha

Re: Top Speed

I saw 110MPH on a deserted desert road outside of Helendale, CA. At 108MPH the drivers side front door seal was making some serious noise... it had a air leak.

The truck felt solid... the NAV was reporting about 2MPG too!

Re: Top Speed

The vehicle is not built for speed. Nuff said.

Re: Top Speed

I've had mine up to about 110, felt pretty solid, The Titan does have the highest top speed of all the full size trucks at 112ish, The silverado will only let you go 99.

Re: Top Speed

Somewhere on this site, I think, is the drag coefficient of the Titan and a little other info. It'd be nice if someody who know the simple formula, would figure the theoretical top speed with stock power and what it would be with each 10 HP increase at the engine. Real Racers do this stuff all the time.

Re: Top Speed

115 here.. tried it twice. the speedo on the titan is accurate too (unless you've changed wheels/tires)

Rebuild it!

Break the mold or at least bend it a little!
