LOL......first question is...why the heII are you sitting in your truck in the dark. Second, your lights shouldn't be going on and off by themselves. Titans have no such "safety" feature I'm aware of.

The interior light should only be going on if you open door or if pull keys out of ignition. At least thats the only times mine comes on.

Re: Interior Lights motion/movement sensor

Does anybody know what the little amber light is in the overhead console that stays on all the time . It's just above the rear view mirror in the overhead console.

Yup plus they come on if you hit the button to turn them on/off. I think your dealer is trying to get out of fixing it. Ask them to show you in the manual the feature.

Straight from your owners manual--I just happen to have mine sitting right here.

I don't know if mine does actually adjust brightness levels with the control, but according to the manual it does.

Re: Interior Lights motion/movement sensor

My truck is a 07. Its the dome lights above in the front, the lights above in the back and the door lights on the passenger doors in the back. They all go on in motion like they are keeping with the beat to the music or some ****. Any one else have a 07 that can check this out. Turn ur car off but leave the key on the acc. setting. Thats when they do their thing.

LOL..Sounds like an electrical gremlin somewhere. The interior lights should'nt be going on and off by themselves.

Re: Interior Lights motion/movement sensor

Do you have a King Cab model and is it possible that your rear doors are not closed all the way? So when you are thumping your music in the dark, is the sound pressure moving the doors out and the light switch turns them on? You would see a red indicator showing up on the dash if this were the case.

Re: Interior Lights motion/movement sensor

I'd love to meet the salesmonkey that claimed it was a safety feature, that it can be turned off, but not tell him how to do it....lol.
