12v Acc. Questions

Hey I recently installed keyless entry and power locks in my 05 xe. I plan on putting in power windows and some fog lights in the next couple of weeks. My question is will I have enough power to run all these off the 1 wire I have run to the battery? Should I run the fogs separate from the door accessories?

Ohh, does anyone have any suggestions on getting rust off of chrome pipes when washing mine today I noticed they have started rusting, I don't see any pitting yet but there was a fair amount.

Why didn't you just get those things already on/in the truck when you bought it? Sounds like a lot of work for nothing. A soaped SOS pad should take the surface rust off the chrome.

How big is the wire you got running of the battery. Make sure you have the right size fuse (amp) for all the stuffs you got hook uo to that wire.

It has a 30 amp inline fuse coming off the battery then the door locks have their own fuse too. I am pretty sure it is a 4 gage wire, It wasn't the fattest one that was a 0 i believe.
I think that the package that includes the door locks / power windows and fog lights is like 1500$, when I get done adding it all I will only have about $300. I bought it used so I didn't have a choice. But I love it, it already had duel exhaust and sounds tough. So I figured I could go aftermarket to get what i want. Thanks for the tip with the sos pad, that won't scratch off the chrome will it?
