Not as much as those of you in NY and what not, but we've gotten a little bit of a healthy amount of snow around here recently and the Titan has been doing great! Buddy at work's been talking about wanting to go and pick up a new quad and since he drives a sedan and is still working on getting a trailer asked for my help. So after a phone call, he looks at me yesterday and says that he wanted to go after work so I called up the wife and off we went. Titan handled it all like a champ without question. And let me tell ya, the heated seat....wow, loving them all the more lately! Sorry, just still loving the Titan and wanted to share this you guys. Anyway, here's a picture of when we got it back to his place.

I hate my truck in the snow. I got nitto terras put on and the a** kicks out all the time when starting from a stop. Could be all that low end torque getting the best of me. So when at a light, I put it in 4HI to get me moving then back to 2HI it goes.

gflife: nice pic with in the snow. i love the way the titan handles the snow in 4wheel too.
tcf_dk: when i'm in 2hi the rear end also does that if i take off to quick. i only run 4hi when the roads are snow packed. how do you like your nittos? are they pretty good in the snow? i'm running mtr's for the winter.

I got AT's and mine handles great on snow and ice!! It is so awesome to be able to get where you need even with bad weather!
hey gadget i have ko at's too on another 4x4 i have and i love them too. they're great on the ice and snow. i do a lot of trails with that ride.
i thought the mtr's weren't gonna be that good in the ice/snow but they've surprised me. they really shine when your climbing and do great in the mud too!

Well I was shocked tonight when I pulled into a parking lot that wasn't plowed. Now I'm in Chicago, and we recently had 10" of snow by me, and my Titan performed above my expectations considering I don't have four wheel drive or ABLS. She went right through it, even though I had to backup and turn around. I had zero extra weight in the bed when this happened.

I keep reading about how bad the BFGs are but I have had great luck with mine so far. We got about 4 inches of snow covered with 6 inches of sleet and another 1/4 inch of ice on top of that the other day and I was getting everywhere fine. The roads all sucked but my BFGs bit right down and kept me going (yes in 4hi) up through the untreated roads and even some hefty snow banks. Maybe I just lucked out. Also I do have about 200lbs of salt and gear in the bed that make a world of difference in keeping the rear from squirling.
We have alot of hp and tq and a light rear to boot so I don't care what tires you have you WILL kick out the rear under more than a feather on snow and ice in 2wd.
My 2 cents
