what year is best?

out of the few years that the titan has made which year would you guys suggest? im thinking of getting a crew cab 2wd. also, what are the titan's weaknesses. what areas of the truck are suggested for modification?

Anything after 06 has all the upgrades if you can call it that. There really is no difference in the year models.

i know this sounds kind of noobish but what is a differential? and what does it do?

The differential or (pumpkin) transfers the engine's power (from the transmission) to the rear wheels. in normal diff only one wheel recieves power. a locker locks both wheels thus both of them recieve the engine's power. a true trac or posi track, diff combines the two, exellent handeling but when you flog on it both wheels lock. i could go on for days. check out the howitworks website they should be able to explain in depth the workings of a differential.

Seeing that picture on your sig...you should know what a diff is. Also..you name contradics you wanting a gas powered truck...but you screen name shows your a diesel fan?

the silver '06 KC is the best cuz its the fastest!

i dunno much about what makes a truck go besides that it has an engine a transmission and a crankshaft. i got the pic cuz its a nice as looking titan. it doesnt contradict it being that the diesel power refers to a shirt which says. HEAT: DIESEL POWERED. besides im getting the truck that my parents allow me to get. the new diesels are all in 3500 and 2500 versions of all trucks which are too big according to my father.

The Titan may be a little to much for your britches to handle. Tell mommy and daddy to start you off with a F-150 or something.

You know what a crankshaft is, a 2500 and 3500 series is, located between the North and South Poles, and are getting what you parents allow, so your under 18 I'd suppose? Are you the one formerly known as HemiQuadCab?

lol. hey hey what do ya know i'm 17 myself! small world. i started with a red 2002 Ford F-150 single cab sport with the 4.2L V6. reliable truck. down on power though. still a strong 6 though.
