Popping noise in front end

I posted this on another Titan forum...but got no suggestions, so here goes here...

I have a popping noise under the floorboard. It happens when I let off the brakes and hit the gas. Nissan says its "play" in the driveshaft. I've never owned a vehicle that had that. Anyone have any suggestions??

Re: Popping noise in front end

Kent, I just had mine fixed. It was a very similar problem to what you descibed. My 05 suffered from a loose transmission mount on the crossmember. I addressed a long time ago but as I approached 30k the 'pop' started. Southerlin in Ft Myers spent a ton of time and effort. They checked a bunch of stuff and the culprit was a loose motor mount. Due to normal road smeg they loosened, cleaned, sprayed and retorqued the motor mounts and it worked.
