Recall on KC rear door wiring harness
Anybody else get a recall for the wireing harness in the rear doors on the King Cab? I got a letter stating that my truck has been recalled because the wireing harness can become torn with the opening and closing of the back door. I will have to go out and see if any wires are frayed.

Can you post a copy of the letter? What are they suggesting for a fix? Do they show a part number for a zip tie that snaps into the door frame?

thats funny, cause that was one of the first things i noticed about my 06 was how they ran the wires weird.....

i called today to make an appt., but they didn't have the new harnesses in yet. they said to call back at the beginning of the week. i'm gonna try to get the 2 deg. timing advance while i'm there.

i had my truck in over a month ago and they told me about it but also said something like they didn't have the harness yet or it wasn't effected. I also haven't gotten anything in the mail so I'm not sure if mine needs an update or had passed the visual.
