Hey I didnt think the HD line of GM trucks was suppose to be out yet. I just seen a plain white extended cab 8' bed 2wd sierra with 2500 markings on the side. Test vehicle? Or are they out already?

I didnt think so either, but there was a new Silverado 2500HD on the local GM lot. Maybe it was just a display demo and not for sale. I didnt have time to go and check, plus it was -20 wind chill that day.

... Were there big differences between the HD you saw and the redular trucks?
Exterior style is a little different between the two. Bigger grill with center bar and taller bumper. Dont know if I like it or not. I dont care for the chrome bumper ends.
HD 1500

As usual, the gmc front end looks better I think. Mainly because it doesn't have those huge chrome pieces on the end.
you can actually build the chevy hd's on their website. A fully loaded 4X4 crew cab standard bed is like $54,000. A lot of money, but the same if not lower than my friends 2005! Like all the manufacturer's, the diesel motor cost has gone up due to the new emissions regulations.

I like the look of the crewcab long HD 2000-2006. The new heavy duty don't look good. Maybe once they start lifting them. I think the new f-250 look weird too. Not as bad as the tundra though.

If I didnt have to work at the sppedway this weekend I would go check out the dealership where I think that truck belongs to. But it is gonna have to wait untill Monday. But it was definetly an HD. How is this possible? You know that GM wouldnt release these things without huge coverage and commercials and such. Weird...
I think the top of the line GMC and Chevy look great, but anything else just doesnt fit my fancy.
