Is this a deal or what?

Friend of a friend had an 05 Titan, and after 120,000 miles in the oil field, he decided he needed a 3/4 ton truck, so he traded it off for a Chevy. In his garage, he had 4 oem Titan SE wheels and 4 BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A tires with less than 5000 miles on them.

My stock tires are Goodyear P265/70R18 and the BFGoodrich tires are P275/65R18. The OD seems to be the same with a Stanley measuring tape. Truck actually rides a little better with the BFG's.

The wheels were exactly like the ones on my 06 Titan SE except they were might be a shade darker.

Made the deal for $175 for all four. Cost me $75 to have them mounted, balanced and installed on the truck. NOW...when I need to rotate tires, it will be much less of a pia.

With the tire dealers charging around $35 to $40 for a rotation, it will take about 5 tire rotations or 20,000 miles to pay for a set of tires/ wheels.

Not to bad huh? Only thing....the tire pressure sensor's do not work. What does the dealer charge to "reset" the cpu to match? Also, would I have to have the cpu reset each time I swap tires? If that's the case, I'll just leave well enough alone. That little light doesn't bother me that much.

I would appreciate any constructive feedback on what I've done.

Thanks

Ok, what did you do with the wheels? and the pressure sensors should still work. I replaced 2 of my tires with no issues.

I installed the used tires on the used wheels. NOW, I have two complete sets of tires/wheels. I guess I didn't state very well that I bought the four wheels AND the four tires.
