Re: Injen CAI?
Hold on one second. I have had a couple different intakes and the above statement is not 100% corect. His statement is corect for all intakes BUT Injen in my own opinion.
The Injen intake uses a Tuned Tube that runs different diameters at the MAF sensor. This tuned tube tries to tell the ECU that the stock intake is still on teh truck keeping your A/F ratio from running rich. Then at WOT it blasts the air in giving you GREAT acceleration.
With Injen CAI, JBA single Exhaust, and Helix TB Spacer I dyno'd at 296 rwhp and 366 rwtq. My A/F ratio was lean at 13.2:1. My truck ran the 1/4 mile UNTUNED at 14.73 @92.** mph.
I don't thind you would see my truck sitting with a good lean mixture if I were to have Volant, AEM, Fram, or any of the other similar straight tubed CAI's.
Your peak numbers...yeah...they'll be close....but find me a 2004-2006 Titan that is running as good as mine.
