Did U Guys Have To Sandpaper And Primer The Plastic Engine Cover Before U Guys Painted It And Did U Use A High Temp Paint?

I read the entire thread and nowhere did I see how he prepped the cover or what sandpaper, etc. he used.

Read that earlier. That cover looks amazing. I'm still contemplating on whether or not to paint mine white. Does anyone on this site have one painted white already?

Well going backwards I would say You DO have to send it and prime it. Because I did not - and I had to do it over again. Mine is RED.
