Got bored today, so I put on 1 rim to see what its going to look like. Monday the rims go to Powder Coating to get the outter rings and inside 6 holes done in High Gloss Black.
We also sat the glass on my brother new project that should be in full swing starting in a few months. Tryin to gather parts for it 1st, and thats not easy to do.
The install was VERY easy at 1161 miles, took all of about 40 minutes to get everything apart and put back together, everything light up that I plugged in, checked it several times and everything worked perfectly. One thing that kind of tripped me out, was on the way home sitting in traffic, I turned on my headlights whole sitting behind a black SUV and my headlights didn't work, the brights worked just fine, but not the driving lights. Once I got home I parked infront of a wall and shut my truck off so that I could work with them and I hit the lights and they worked pefectly, I don't know why that would happen, anyone reading this have a clue?

I work in Aliso Viejo.
I have no idea if the 35's will fit right now or not, when I get my wheels back from powder coating(when ever that is), I will mount them and see if they fit or not. Most likely not.
I'm not sure what I want to do about the suspension, I would really like to run Gregs kit, only problem is that it's 4k and I have no intrest in using this truck in the dezert. So I would be wasting all that money on something that will never be used. And for what I want, I could get away with a basic Camburg 2.5 kit and still be able to tuck the 35's into the wheel well. Plus I could use that towards my Ranger.
You might want to stay away from the camburglar arms. They have some issues that they refuse to acknowledge.
yeah, it's too bad they didn't make more of an effort to correct the issue, Camburg seems to have a pretty good reputation with the offroad community and builds very nice race-ready trucks......
Horrendous camber and caster issues. I had a set and my truck could never be aligned. There have been many others with the same problem. Another issue was the heim started coming out all on its own on another member's truck.

Who was doing the alignment?
I only ask because I know there is about 10 kits for this truck out there?

Ask Greg, he knows a bunch of guys that had problems. I took my truck to two alignment places. This is the main reason I think he stopped selling camburg stuff.

Finally got around to doing the door speakers on Saturday(2971)
Went with Memphis Audio 6x9's up front and 6x5's in the rear doors. I'm hoping to do both dash tweeters, add another amp in a few week.

But your 6x9's already have tweeters in them? Or do you like it when all you can hear is tweeter?
Or are you not going to use the tweeter in the 6x9?

So I finally got to tow my Ranger out with the Titan. I have to say I cant believe how good it tows compared to my 02 F150.
I barely had my foot on the pedal going up the Cajon Pass on Friday morning, 55 was no problem what so ever, looked down at one point and we were doing 70 up hill.
Everything I have towed with has had a break controller on it, well I did not have the money to pick on up before this trip, so I figured it might be somewhat difficult to stop all the weight, and that just wasn't the case. Not one time did I think I was going to rearend anyone. While my buddy had the same set up in his Chevy Avalance, he almost took out 5 cars within 6 miles cause he couldn't stop. I was very happy with how the Titan did. I couldn't imagine how good the 08's would do having larger breaks than the 07's.
