Everything I have towed with has had a break controller on it, well I did not have the money to pick on up before this trip, so I figured it might be somewhat difficult to stop all the weight, and that just wasn't the case. Not one time did I think I was going to rearend anyone. While my buddy had the same set up in his Chevy Avalance, he almost took out 5 cars within 6 miles cause he couldn't stop. I was very happy with how the Titan did. I couldn't imagine how good the 08's would do having larger breaks than the 07's.

Here are a few pics of the trucks loaded up
so did u race? how did u do?

Re: 15 Days Old!!!!

I finally got around to mounting the rims and tires, the truck is suppose to go into the shop to get its 1st front end put on 1st thing Monday morning.

As the the guy was balancing the 1 wheel, he had to move 1 of the weights, well when he took it off the Chrome came with it, and I dont know what to do, it clearly states that once you mount these wheels, you own them. But what about defects in there chrome. At this point I dont know what to do, I'm gonna call the RG's shop tomarrow and see what can be done.

Also, can anyone tell me how big of a wheel spacer will be needed to clear the caliper bolt? Back spacing is 90mm's. I believe I can get a 1/8 and clear, but I dont want to get anything to large if not needed.

Thanks.

What do you think I should do besides calling the shop.
The guys at Discount tire said that they no longer carry RG's. In there computer it tells them that RG's have been discontiued and cant even get the rings I need.

I would take them back to where you bought them and make them make things right.

If RG's have been discontinued, how and where are all the race teams getting them from then?

Re: 15 Days Old!!!!

Here is what I know:
RG corp. decided not to run these wheels anylonger. Then Ultra steped up and started producing them, so I wasn't really suprised when he told me they were discontiuned again. I'm gonna call tomarrow and see where I can go through RG motorsports, if that doesnt work, than I'm gonna try and hit up Ultra and see what happens. I have a felling that since I mounted them I am going to get screwed.
I'm gonna have to do a LOT of yelling soon!

I agree.
?
Since I had pay to have these mounted, who is going to pay to have them dismounted and remounted? Is that something I'm gonna get screwed on if they re-dip them? I shouldn't, but I wanna ask others opinion before I talk 2 them.

Thanks for your help

Honestly, you're probably gonna have to bite the bullet on that one....

[quote=red_rider_elsinore]It looks like the camburg kit.QUOTE]

What was it that gave it away?
I havn't driven the truck due to the alignment shop not having the right cams, then when they showed up they were the wrong one's. So a friend of mine over there is going to drop the truck off at my Mom's house tomarrow and I'll pick it up in a few days when I get time. He tells me it ride's nice.
No reason for a "custom valving" as you put it, they come valved from Leak-a-Way and the plan is to only have this on my truck untill the 1st of the year. Then its off to the next kit.
So there's no reason to mess with the bumps either.
