What do you guys think of this Titan for sale near me?

2004 Nissan Titan LE w/ 39000 miles
Asking Price $22500

I have been looking at Titans for awhile, then I got distracted by wanting a diesel but haven't been able to find a diesel that I like or want to spend that amount of money for. That is where this Titan that is being sold near me comes into play.

What questions should I be asking the seller? What warranties were available? What recalls should have been done? Anything else that is reliant?

What do you guys think? What would be a good price to offer?

First thing I'd do is take it to a good mechanic and have them check the brakes and rear end out.

Nice looking ride though.

You never give them asking price I would offer the most $19,000 its got almost 40,000 miles on the the truck. See what they come back at, I would advise you to get some sort of "factory warranty". Don't go for these after market stuff they're useless and you will throwing your money away. Its a first year model find out if all the tsb's and recalls have been done if possible.
We have had some problems with the 04's and 05. Do some searching on this site you will get all the info you need. See what kind of interest rate they are offering on a used vehicle. You may be better off going new. thats my 2 cents

Re: What do you guys think of this Titan for sale near me?

KBB shows the private party value of this truck ranging from $19,900 in fair condition, $21,735 for good condition, and $23,085 for excellent condition.

Checking out www.autotrader.com for vehicles in my area, the price seems fair. Certainly have the vehicle checked out.

For that price, why don't you buy a brand new one.

Re: What do you guys think of this Titan for sale near me?

I am pretty mechanically compitent, would I be able to identify the brake issuse and the rear ring gear issuse on my own? Would the diff cover need to come off and watch the gears spin or look at the tooth wear?

I was thinking of offering $18000 or $19000 which is considerably lower than $39000.
