Strange Vibration?

Guys, about a month ago I installed the Nismo CAI and have loved it every since. About a week ago I noticed that when I get on the gas pretty heavy there is a loud rattling/vibration that sounds like it is coming from my front right side dashboard. Have any of you had or heard of this problem and if so do you have any ideas I can look into to find out where it is coming from? Thanks guys.

Re: Strange Vibration?

Wish I could help. I have the same CAI but have had no issues at all from it.
If it's definately coming from the right side, I'd say it's just a coincidence.

Re: Strange Vibration?

I just think that it has something to do with how much vibration there is now that I installed the CAI. When the RPM's get high, it starts to make the noise? I'm not sure where to begin trying to find it? That's pretty much the reason for the post. I just think that maybe with the added vibration, it may have shaken something loose?

Re: Strange Vibration?

What is the vibration? There shouldn't be any new vibration with the CAI, anywhere. There is certainly an increase in noise with the NISMO, but it's just the air coming in.
Are you saying the motor is vibrating, or something interior?
There's a lot of added noise, especially at high RPM with the CAI, but no vibration that I've experienced.

Re: Strange Vibration?

Have you checked or had someone check your exhaust manifold? I had a rattling noise that would become worse when I stepped on the gas. It turned out to be the right exhaust manifold. I could be way off but it won't hurt to have it checked out.
