Good progress is being made on the TCU front. We're in and working on the details.
Things have been going a little slower than we'd like on the actual software side of things. That's mainly a situation of just needing a few more talented engineers. The guys here are absolutely awesome, but we have enough work to keep twice as many guys VERY busy. We're hiring (hint hint!) http://www.cobbtuning.com/info/?id=3194
As for numbers, we're right about the same as what Superchips is getting (as far as gains over stock) on the Hemi trucks. We have full control over the throttle and other annoyances, but power still drops like a rock at higher RPMs. That's mechanical, we can't change it on the ECU. That's why we're putting so much focus on the TCU. We need to get this thing shifting sooner and overall better suited to the powerband. We think that'll REALLY get you guys the big improvements you're after.
Pricing would be similar to the programmers for domestic trucks. Retail pricing that is. We're a tiny company compared to the companies selling domestic programmers. Also keep in mind they sell something like 10x as many F-series a year as they do Titans, so that effects pricing a little as well. That being said, we'll keep this thing as affordable as we can.
It's a race!!! What are the odds of Stillen beating out Cobb to market? 2:1?
