Got me a 2007 Titan

just got me a 2007 Titan XE CC 4x4 Smoke with power doorlocks and windows but it does'nt have keyless entry ? what will i have to do to get keyless entry ? (paid $28450.00 OTD) is this a fair price ? anyway i bought it. Guys give me some help on the keyless entry !!!!!

price seems fair. the remote keyless entry is an part of the "preferred package" option. How do you get power windows and locks with an XE? i dont see that option available on the XE

yes but the service dept was closed and the salesman was going to give me 2 remotes but he could'nt get them programed ? so we was wondering is there something else i have got to get ? he thought you could just program them ? so he is going to ask the service guy monday. i was hopeing someone here would know

it don't say preferred package on the sticker but it has PDL, PW, Power sliding rear glass, cruise control. i know what you're saying but i'm puzzled about having pdl and no keyless entry ?

First off, Welcome to Titan Talk.
You have to make sure your Titan does have keyless entry before you can make it work.

ID CODE ENTRY PRODCEDURE

Step 1) Sit in drivers seat, close and lock all doors.

Step 2) Insert key into and remove it from ignition key cylinder more than six times within 10 seconds.
(Hazard warning lamps will then flash twice).

NOTE:
Withdraw key completely from ignition key cylinder each time.
If procedure is performed too fast, system will not enter registration mode.

Step 3) Insert key into ignition key cylinder and turn to ACC position.

Step 4) Push any button on remote controller once. (Hazard warning lamps will then flash twice).
At this time, the oldest ID code is erased and the new ID code is entered.

Step 5) Do you want to enter any additional remote controller ID codes?
A maximum of four ID codes may be entered. If more then four ID codes are entered,
the oldest ID code will be erased.
If you do not want to enter any additional remote controller ID codes, go to Step 9).

Step 6) ADDITIONAL ID CODE ENTRY
Lock all doors with LH (driver side) lock/unlock switch
(in main power window and door lock/unlock switch).

Step 7) Push any button twice on remote controller once, (Hazard warning lamps will then flash twice).
At this time, the oldest ID code is erased and the new ID code is entered.

Step 8) Do you want to enter any additional remote controller ID codes?
If so, unlock doors then repeat Step 6) and Step 7).

Step 9) When complete, open door, and check operation of remote.

titan2005 while im sure you will disagree it sounds like you are dangerously close to an aftermarket sitation. While PWR Widows and door locks would make it appear factory....BEWARE....I only mention this 'cause it was there when you test drove it then dissappeared when you refused it. you cant refuse factory options on a vehicle already built!!!! Well good luck and let us all know how it turns out....

Not positive here, but seems to me if you got everything power, it should have the keyless entry? Either way congrats.

um PDL does not mean keyless it is a modual they have to put in if im not mistaken


also how did you get power with a XE?

unless the dealer upgraded it, and that is not aftermarket, at least not like say a head unit, or Infinity,Jbl or some other set of speakers


it is warantied (if the dealer did it)
but my question is why didnt you just let the truck wait till Monday

i would have no confidence in a salesmans word, at least not if he "had to program the fob" that tells me it doesnt have KE but i could be wrong...

I think it's factory because the FACTORY WINDOW STICKER states power windows, power door locks, power sliding (vertical) back glass ?

it's a factory upgrade i've seen a few with this it's called preferred package ! BUT mine does'nt say preferred package but it has a lot of the things that come with a preferred package ? i thought i was getting the preferred package after seeing the power options on the truck, i'm a little puzzled. i was just sure it had keyless entry with it already having pdl ? i guess i should have checked closer. i'm sorta dissappointed
do you have a few days to back out of the deal ? if so i'm considering it, so i can be sure and get the keyless entry ! i've not even got the money yet i'm going to the credit union tomorrow they just pulled my credit and i told them the secu had a better rate so they based it on that but i told them i've never borrowed any money from secu but they INSISTED i would have no problems getting the money ! i paid them $3000.00 down and going to borrow $25450.00 from secu. SO BEING I DON'T HAVE THE ACTUAL LOAN YET CAN I BACK OUT ?

First, congrats. Next, the XE CC comes standard with PW and PDL. The preferred pack. includes keyless, 6 disc cd and a couple other things. If your truck does not have the Pref.pack., i'm sure you can still add the factory remotes. I know, it doesn't make sense, power locks without standard remotes....My '04 XE CC had the pref pack, and it was a must. Hope this helps.

i also wondered the same thing, how does an xe have power options? i have been looking at a crew cab xe at our dealer that has every option as my se, plus 4wd. the only difference between my se and the xe on the lot is the gray steel wheels...

but make it part of the deal
even if you gotta pony up more money down


that way you get the warranty
