Good, Bad and the Ugly

Just thought I'd share a few things that happened this week.

Good: smoked a 1500 Silverado, H2 and an Expidition. What were the last two thinking? All three challenged me. The usual; looking over at me at the red light then punching it.

Bad: my Red Tail Boa bit me and left one of her teeth deep inside my finger. Doctor took an x-ray and said it is close to the bone and would require surgury if I want it removed.

Ugly: starting to see 07 Tundras around town. I'm glad I bought my Titan.

Re: Good, Bad and the Ugly

Ugly is right. I seen one pulling outof the yota dealership Sunday afternoon, still a ugly truck IMO.

At Home Depot Saturday I fella in 07 Silverado complimented me on my truck and likewise to him and asked if I could look it over. It was 4dr LTZ package, basicly loaded without DVD play. The interior is very nice, much better than previous years. I like the exterior except for the front end. Unlike the previous years GM trucks that were 4dr and a 1500HD they dropped the HD for the 1500 4dr trucks.

Any of the Chevy's I've seen have this butt ugly handle on the doors. It is totally unsightly, almost as if it were an afterthought perhaps. It looks totally out of place in the interior, which otherwise is much improved over the old versions. I could only find this interior picture showing the handle that I'm speaking of.

It looks like it would be more suited as a driveshaft hoop than a door handle.

Oh and sorry about the "BAD" news. Use a pair of needlenose plier's and yank it out!!!

Chevy's - I cannot stand 4-spoke steering wheels.
Tundra - it IS UGLY as it is right now. Though I do like this concept:

Re: Good, Bad and the Ugly

I think I'm going to keep the tooth, maybe it will work it's way out. Surgury sounds worse than the bite. As far as the Chevys go, it does seem like they are trying to improve the interior. I had a 1989 Silverado and the trucks seemed to stay the same for several years after. Mine was metalic Black with a Gold bottom half. Remember those?!? It was a great looking truck that always got compliments but had countless electrical and mechanical problems.

I'm sorry, but I think IMO the Honda interior has a much UGLIER door handle.

I'm with you and the Honda as cool as it may be is still not a truck, it's a station wagon with a cool bed in back.

Re: Good, Bad and the Ugly

In my opinion...the Tundra only looks good in Silver...thats all I'm seeing around town. All other colors look like crap...
