How much $$$ for Detailing?

Have any of you had your Titan detailed? If so, how much did you pay, was it interior and exterior, and how did it turn out?

Have to admit, this is a self-motivated question. I've kinda taken up exterior detailing as a hobby, and several people have suggested I do it for $. Maybe they are blowing smoke up my ***, but I'm actually considering it. Obviously I have to call around to see what the local places charge, but I'm just trying to figure out if it's even worth it cost wise. I've probably got close to $500 worth of products and tools in my garage, and the combination I use ain't cheap (menzerna, zaino brothers, blackfire, p21s, and more). My biggest issue is I don't do interiors. Too big of a PIA for me. Here's some pics of my friends CTS-V. Sweet car that he just bought used. Had a LOT of little scuff marks and minor scratches that I got out. Took 6 hours, and I took my sweet time. He took the pics and they're not that great (bad angles), but here they are for reference. I'm waiting on the weather and another product to show up in the mail before I do my truck.

Whattya guys think?

Re: How much $$$ for Detailing?

I own a car detailing business which is my full time job. For a titan sized vehicle I charge $169 for a full interior/exterior detail. if it has a shell then it is the next size up which is $189. The engine is also seperate so that is $25. I do the engine seperate because a lot of engines don't need to be done and a lot of people don't like them to be done.

So in answer to your question: for a full detail with engine is about $195 and that takes me about 4-5 hours. Hope that helps

Re: How much $$$ for Detailing?

Thanks for such quick responses!
cbenzon---I don't know how you do it full time...I have fun doing it, but at the same time I can see how it would get old, real quick! If I do it, I'd probably only be doing 4-5 vehicles in a MONTH! Mainly because it would truly be a "side" thing due to other jobs. Plus, at least for a long time, I know I won't be able to compete with you guys, the pro's. Do you shampoo/steam the interior? Other than a general cleaning, I just really don't know that I want to get into all that's involved with the interior.
