Re: 07 XE Keyless Entry

Hey this is my first time posting on this site - just for this same question. After we purchased our 07 XE CC I went to get a remote - parts said "We don't make them for your VIN" I quickly called my ex-husband, a director of parts and service at a Nissan Dealer and questioned that - he said, "They can get it to work if you have electronic door locks, BUT if you use it to unlock the truck and then open the passenger door first, your alarm will go off." That blows my hair back! Love the truck though and still using the key to get in and out. Any suggestions?

I'd try it anyway. Maybe you could message some of the ones above that got it to work to let them see if the alarm goes off when you open the right door. I won't be able to test that theory till maybe next week when I get back to work.

I don't have a 06 to practice on unless I run across one by accident. But I am sure I have done this before. I know this is not a standard procedure for a tech to be doing, but it is possible the consult software may not the right version. I have several versions I use for different things. I've kept some old versions because it will let me do things you can't do on the new versions. And the same for the new versions that won't work on the old. Keep trying.

I tried that on my 07 XE CC and I unlocked the doors with the remote and opened each one and got no alarms going off.

Re: 07 XE Keyless Entry

Anyone know if this works on an 08 XE CC? When you had it done at the dealership did you know someone there, or just go up to the service window and ask it they could do it?
