what's your new rearend part # ? my 07 part # is 43001-2H04B is this the one you got ? my 4x4 does not have the E-LOCKER, so again i wonder if my rearend is a updated one or the same as the old ones ? Thanks, Rodney

Mine has the e-locker and I think the p/n is 43001-Z005D, or something real close to that.

Re: Changing Diff Fluid ?

titan2005--your part number seems to be consistent with the 2006 4x4 BT but non-OR. Your part number suggests you do not have the updated rear-end. Check our log to see if your part number has had a failure.

Re: Changing Diff Fluid ?

I'm not sure why all the part number hype. The same exact part can have a different part number a year later. Doesn't mean much. Again, I've been shown nothing that proves there have been any rear end changes in the Titan since 2004. Even the dealer says they have heard of no changes other than the finned cover and 140W synthetic fluid requirement. Can anyone provide such solid info?

White- I will get the part number off my current axle before it's changed out.

The tech that changed mine is a friend of mine and he told me that there was a change. The spider gear was updated.

I also have a few friends who are Nissan techs at my local dealership who claim they haven't changed a thing. I'm still looking for definitive information on the rear ends. I hope your guy is right!

Me too. It looks like the rear ends are holding up a little better now than they were.

I don't see any number or numbers anywhere on the rear axel. Am I missing it? Where should it be?

It should be on the axle housing right side, near the pumpkin.
