Can't get Sirius signal...brand new 07 KC w/sirius!!! HELP

Sounds like an antenna problem(not connected, short in wire and so on) Should work outdoors with clear view of the sky. This also may be a dumb question, Is it activated?

try unhooking the antenna wire from the unit and then hook it back up...mine does this sometimes and i just mess around with the antenna wire where it hooks into the unit....

Have them refresh the info to your radio. Mine was activated and took three times to make it a go. Been fine for almost a year now.

Any luck with this so far? I installed factory Sirius recently and it works great. The display will show "Antenna" if the antenna isn't hooked up. If the radio isn't receiving a signal it will show "No Signal". You should be able to receive channel 184 regardless of your subscription status. This is also the channel you tune to to activate/reactivate your subscription. A clear view of the sky is important. I don't get a signal when I park right next to my house.

Yeah, I have tried 7 times now...still NO SIGNAL. I am not getting any audio at all on 184...wonder if they F#$ked it up when they installed the Nissan Ipod Integration.

Now that's an interesting thought. I am in the process of putting that in myself and I am being careful to make sure I can undo the connections if I don't like it--without having to rip it all out.

You're best off letting the dealer fix it. But if you're so inclined, the N-bus connector that plugs into the OEM satellite box up behind the BCM can be pulled out if you have nimble fingers. In the same vicinity is the original N-bus cable from the factory harness meant for the sat. Pull that out of the female end of the ipod harness and plug that into the sat. At this point the ipod gadget is out of the picture.

That Ipod gadget isnt going anywhere...because I love it. Anyways, looks like I am going to the dealer tomorrow...

I know the ipod hijacks the sat's spot on the bus. I haven't tried mine yet obviously but I think you need to disconnect the ipod device proper to regain the sat. Shame you can't toggle it while connected somehow.
