First fillup

I did my first fillup yesterday and got 12.7 mpg combined hwy and city. I hope it improves a little.

It will after it breaks in. Mine was about 15 after the first tank and now I'm getting at least 16. I haven't checked it in a while though.

It all depends how hard you press the pedal. After 6500 aggressive miles, I'm getting 10-12 winter blended gas, 13-14 summer blend, all city driving. Highway is usually 15-19 depending on speed.

I've got about 800 miles in so far--averaging about 12.5, and I'm an easy-does-it type. I'll be out this afternoon for about 200 miles on 2-4 lane highways, so we'll see how that goes. I have a ScanGauge II coming--so I'm planning on some RPM/MPH based tests soon.

Don't bet on it. It MAY get a little better but nothing really worth talking about. A MPG or 2 at most. Most of todays engines are bench broken-in so the rings and seals are pretty much all seated. What breaks in more would be the drivetrain....rear end, tranny, wheel bearings etc.

Yea, maybe one or two miles per gallon, I was averagine 12, now I am averaging 14 all city, but some of that me be the switch over to summer gas.
