Ouch. Too bad you could't go behind that and try to pop it out. What were you doing to run into the other truck, drafting?
no my dumb a$$ was at the car lot looking at a car for my girlfriend when i forgot to put it in park and it rolled into a new silverado 1500 hd, didnt even put a scratch on that truck.... thank god cause the car lot was closed
Ouch. Good thing they were closed, the stealership would have found something to get you for. Sucks to have that happen. I have left a car running before and forgot about it, but that was because I was tired and wasn't thinking (plus the car was so quiet). Lol when it was time to leave I was like ,"Where's the keys?" go outside and find the car running.

HAHAHA reminds me of my story:
I just got a Veilside kit for my Celica (cost me $2500 for kit, install and paint). Well, I was hungry, so i went to the drive thru...after placing my order, i went into the center console for my wallet. Well, my dumb a$$ forgot to either 1) step on the brake or 2) pull the parking brake. Anyway, my car slowly rolled into the van in front of me. When we hit, i backed up and took a look at his van: no damage whatsoever. But when i went to take a look at mine...there was a nice 6" gash right down the middle of my bumper! Needless to say, after picking up my food at the window...i had NO appetite.
We popped one of those out, but in the end still had to buy a new corner and have it painted.
The "dent" maybe gone if you pop it out, but it leaves a heck of a bruise.

You know you had a great night last night when you make it home the next day missing at least 1/2 of your clothes.
I'm going to start up a soup kitchen. That way I can be first in line.
That plastic bumper piece (part # 62025N) is available from a few of the parts sponsors on here. Should run you around $40 plus shipping. Get your local body shop to paint it and you're all set.
You can either remove the bumper to get to it, or just remove the various fasteners on the part itself. I just took the part off by itself since I didn't want to bother removing the skidplate and the bumper. I had to remove the headlight to get to the three fasteners on the top, but a pair of very long needle-nose pliers might do the job instead.
I did the same thing with a snowbank. Mine didn't have the crease on the top like yours, so I was able to heat it up and pop it out. Good thing - the local body shop wanted $480 to fix it. Yikes!
After seeing these pictures and hearing the stories I don't feel too bad about my little customization job. Was trying to park real close to a rock retaining wall and guess what, those rubber door guards really do work. I scraped the paint on the front and rear one but didn't do any damage to the door. whew...
My neighbor asked me why I hadn't fixed it yet. My reply was, "So I remember not to park too close to anything and watch what the hell I am doing".
