Exterior Trim
Has anyone had any experience removing the exterior trim that runs along the lower part of the doors. Any Pics?

Are you sure?
There are no holes in the XE doors and they don't have them.

Re: Exterior Trim
That's because the XE don't come with door mouldings, the SE/LE once remove will have 4 alignment holes per door.

Wish I would have read this first. 8 holes behind trim in LE front doors. Yikes! What to do now?

Re: Exterior Trim
I actually took them off because I will be applying a graphics kit to the Titan for my business. The LE lower trim looks hideuos so I might swing by local body shop and get a quote for filling in the holes. Really bites!

Re: Exterior Trim
i had thought about doing this to smooth out the side, but with all the f'ing dings assholes keep gifting me with, i think i'll leave them on until after my lift... that way at least they'll be hitting my steps and f'ing up their doors...
it's so hard to keep a truck pretty, people just don't know/care!

Why fill in the holes?! Incorporate the side trim in the design. I know the graphics companies can put whatever part of the graphic will be at that section on the trim. Actually applying it is easier that you have it off the vehicle.
Do you hate the trim that much?!!

I have been looking at vehicle wraps and figure that will cover the holes well.

Had nothing to do with the trim piece, but was more about the graphics I will be applying.

Re: Exterior Trim
You gonna let us in on it with some pics when you're done? Not that I'm looking to put business graphics on my truck, but I'm wondering what yours are gonna look like.

Oh man, I just got a vision of you putting black "blobs" on the side to look like a black and white painted cow! That would be cool!!!!!
