Cabin Fan/Blower on with key on ACC?

I noticed that when my key is turned to the ACC (not ON) position, the climate control fan will turn on as well. In my other cars, the blower only worked when the key was turned to the ON position.

Does your Titan do this too, or did I screw something up when I installed my new stereo?

I just checked mine. It doesn't come on unless the car is on.

Better check which position the key really was in because the fan doesn't run in ACC...

Re: Cabin Fan/Blower on with key on ACC?

Uh oh, looks like I might have messed something up during my stereo install. I double checked again and have confirmed that my fan does work when the key is in the ACC position.

Any ideas what I might have cross wired? It shouldn't have had anything to do with the stock stereo harnesses that I tapped into could it?

Re: Cabin Fan/Blower on with key on ACC?

Problem fixed...it was a wiring error on my remote starter. It seems one of the wiring diagrams posted on this board was incorrect. There are actually two IGN wires NOT two ACC wires.
