WHAT is an electric brake jumper cable ?

there is a cable that came out of my new 07 titan se and i have no clue what it is. has a white plug on one end then open wires on the other. its labled as an "elec. brake jumper" and input thanks ?

it connects to the "brake" wiring under the dash to install a Brake Conroller. Which controls the brakes of a tow vehicle behind your truck.

Does it look like this -

minus the black connector for your brake controller the white portion should be the same.
