WAAY too dark inside the XE

In the base XE, even though its a crew cab - i have only ONE interior light, ONE!

no door lights, map lights, footwell lights, nothing - just the single dome light that isn't all that great anyway. you would think the boys from nissan would think to throw us atleast another light or 2.....

any XE'rs out there agree?

any thoughts from anyone on how to brighten up the interior of my truck?

Base model is as base model does.

Awe hey that's no help to you I'm a smart alec. But I think you can buy little disk shaped batterey LED type lights that you can stick wherever you want. I have seen them but can't remember where. Do a search on ebay or somewhere like that or other.

Re: WAAY too dark inside the XE

I have and XE and I have the maplights and the dome light in the rear. They all come on when I open the door. I usually have them all turned off so I don't wake up my kid when he falls asleep in the truck.

Re: WAAY too dark inside the XE

maybe one of the bulbs burned out in the dome. I have an XE and the dome lights up my entire cab. I'll check to see because i've never really looked for additional lights.

Re: WAAY too dark inside the XE

what are you doing that you need that much light after dark? to me, I just need enough light to get the key in the ignition.

Once the truck is started and the doors are shut, the light goes out anyhow.

Not trying to be a jerk, just saying if you're reading get a book light, if you're rolling a doobie then do it in the back with the cargo light on.
