Hello everyone. I was referred to this site by a current member and I hope to gain as much info as I can for my 05 QX56. I know this is a titan forum, but the guy who referred me said there are a few QX56 owners on here too... is that true? I know the Titans, Armadas, and QX56s have similar engines...
I also have an 02 MR2 spyder that I've tastefully modded. I'm a member of a forum for my spyder and I figured I should find another forum for my Infinity as the spyder forum has helped me out a lot!
I am currently debating on putting in a CAI for the Infinity to help gas mileage, and I would like to know what your experience is w/this mod vs a drop in K&N filter.
Thanks for the help!

Re: Newbie

Welcome to the boards! I think for most of the folks who did a CAI mod, the difference in mileage was pretty negligible. And if CAI is all you do, the difference in performance is pretty negligible as well. Most folks do a CAI in combo with an exhaust, but this is to bump the performance, not the mileage. I haven't heard of anything yet to increase mileage. Well, except for keeping your foot out of it!

Re: Newbie

Thanks for the info. I'll just get a K&N drop in filter and leave it at that. I'm satisfied w/the power of the QX56 as it is and if I'd be adding power to anything, it would be my spyder
