OK All Titans have the same engine but which is fastest by build/weight? I am assuming that a regular cab will be the fastest over a KC and CC due to the excess weight. I have a 2007 CC and I am assuming it is the slowest ( buy less than a second maybe) but my big question is how should I take all the advise on tuning a Titan as far as if it works for one guy it may not have the same affect for my CC. Well I hope my question makes sense if not please ask and I will explain further.....
Nissan does not make a Regular Cab Titan. Only King Cab and Quad Cab.
As for which is the fastest.....Mod for the the lightest truck would be the fastest with identical HP and TQ numbers.
So a King Cab with Big Tow should be the fastest.
BUT....My Crew Cab seems to be tops of all Titans that have run at the tracks without a tune.
So it really just depends. On a good deal of ocassions the 4X4 with the off road package seems pretty fast. This is for two reasons...one 3.36 gears...two...the Off Road 17" wheels are the lightest Nissan makes at 26.5 lbs. The XE wheel comes in at 43 I think it was.....that steelie was pretty heavy. SE wheels are in the mid 30's.
Oddly enough...the weight difference between a CC and KC is pretty close. My Crew Cab weighs 5100 lbs.

my buddy at work has a 2006 kc 4x4 w/ off road and big tow. i have a 2004 cc version of this w/ the same options.
we both have the 2* timing advance and drop in filters, no other mods. we raced on the highway from about 45-50 to 80-85. i pulled a good half truck on him. not running, just walking. again, i have the crew cab.
All models of the Titan have a speed limiter which limits top speed to around 112 mph. So one Titan can't be faster than another...
But one can get there before the other. The speed limiter is 114.

No two engines will be the same. If your lucky you will get one of the "fast" engines, if not you will get a "slow" one. Theoretically a KC with it's lighter weight should be the fastest, and it may very well be "on average" but again it's all the luck of the draw.

Good info, I was always wondering about the weight on different wheels. I just switched from the stock 285 to a 265 tire. It's about 1.5" less dia and 4 lbs lighter. There is a very big difference I can feel, although I haven't raced anyone with them. I think it has more to do with the weight than the dia in this case.
Another consideration is the exhausts. Wasn't it either the CC or the 4x4 that had an extra set of resonators up front? I thought they were mini-cats that heat up quickly. Also with the '07's being more of a dual exhast.
By "slow" I'm assuming you are referring the the Monday moning engines where they are recovering from the Tennessee bourbon weekend.

112 is all i can get in mine... was 110... maybe the fuel is just cut back to a preset point and however your truck handles it is where it stops pulling??
