So the other day I go to get a new Kenwood Unit and some new JBL 6x9's installed in my 2006 Nissan Titan XE King Cab. It was the most base truck you could buy so I've slowly been upgrading it as I go along. I'm planning some trips this summer so it was time to upgrade my stereo for the extended traveling times.

I find a mom and pop shop who will do the entire installation for $100. After they complete the install they couldn't get rid of the flashing air bag light they ended up giving me back $20 after I pissed and moaned. So I call the dealer who said it would be $140 just to figure out what the problem is. Then the cost of labor to fix it. It isn't covered by the warranty of course. So I'm looking at money out of my pocket to get it fixed then a fight with the shop to get to get the cost of the repairs out of my pocket refunded.

So I just then I remember why not search these forums. I did a search and found the thread about how to resolve the issue. So I did what any titan talk member would do. I used the money I would have had to spend on getting the problem fixed along with the $20 I got back from the shop on the bed extender from the dealer (don't worry I negotiated a great deal on this $200 including tax). Now I'm spending the time I saved watching Rocky on DVD on my 50" TV. Did I mention how thankful I am to all those that have contributed to these forums?
