I picked up my Titan last Tuesday. Traded a '05 Ranger Edge and man what a difference! Titan is huge! I've never owned/driven anything so big so it's going to take some getting used to. I did hours of research before I decided on the Titan ruling out the Ford F-150, Chevy Silverado & Dodge Ram. The new Tundra was impressive but getting one with the 5.7 engine under $30,000 in a Double Cab is virtually impossible.
I love everything about the Titan except the radio; my Ranger had a better stock system. Gas mileage sucks but I expected that & the Ranger was only marginally better.
I am planning on a few mods so I'll post some questions in the appropriate forum.
Leaning towards the Flowmaster 50 series but not sure abt the CAI. I was reading the info on the CAI kits and the HP claims of 17+ gains seem inflated. Any actual dyno #'s?
congrats and the exhaust and c.a.i. together give you about that. i know u will love this truck so let the good times roll.
Thanks.
Yeah that's abt what I figured for both mods; a true 10-13 RWHP. I've done a lot of dyno runs on Mustangs and rarely do you see significant gains on stock motors with just exhaust & CAI. The good times will roll but it will be expensive with gas prices on the rise.
Thanks for the welcome. This is my 3rd truck & 2nd jet ski within the last 15 months. Wife says no more toysso I'm stuck with it but hey I'm not complaining.

Nov 16, 1996, UGA at Auburn, 1st quarter: UGA V almost takes Auburn wide receiver Rober Baker's manhood off for catching a touchdown pass to put Auburn up 7-0. Stupid leash.

Welcome, I also traded my 01 ranger, v6 4L. This thing is a beast, but fun to drive. Luckly I have disable plates, gives me plenty of parking space
My Ranger only got 12mpg, I'm way happy with my 15 city and 18-19 hwy
