Train Horns for your Titan..

I have always wanted one. But I have a few questions regarding them since I have never see 1 in person.

1. How hard are these to install?
2. How big are the Compressor's?
3. Any idea on what they weight?
4. Where's the best place to mount it?
5. Where you able to hide te Compressor on your Titan?

Thanks, Brian

Yeah, those two I think. And it seems I remember another, but don't can't remember exactly who they were. The one install I remember seeing pics of, had the horns mounted under the bed of the truck.

Re: Train Horns for your Titan..

1. Does take some knowledge to install. Welding is needed for some, also the compressor and feeding the compressor lines can get confusing.
2.I have a 3 gallon compressor.
3.compressor weighs about 35 pounds, my 3 horns about 2 pounds a piece.
4.Best place to mount- compressor, just under driver's side door. the horns- 2/3 toward the front of the truck mounted in the center.
5.see question 3.

hornblastersdotcom i believe is a good website.

OK, Love to help cause it was fun installing mine... That and making Pat & others jump at Titan meets.

1. How hard are these to install?
I took my time and with all connections it was about 4-5 hours. The difficult pat was drilling holes in the bed of the truck. I have a bed cover so that is where I mounted the compressor and tank.

2. How big are the Compressor's?
I used a 1 gal tank and a decent Vair compressor. The compressor is about the size 1ftX 8in x 4in. and the air tank is ~ milk bottle size.

3. Any idea on what they weight?
Not adding the horns in ~ 8-10 lbs for my install. I used a 1/4” mounting plate that attaches to the utility track

4. Where's the best place to mount it?
The horn, in front of the drivers side tire pointed down (for me)
The compressor and tank could be mounted under the bed if you don’t have a cover .

5. Where you able to hide the Compressor on your Titan?
Well I answered that but you can see that in the pictures attached
