need quick info, dealer charging for TSB?

my 06 has no real cam bolts, a TSB:

Dealer is charging me $80 labor and $70 alignment to do it. I bought truck new at this dealership in Oct. Is this normal for them to charge for correction of this problem?

Re: need quick info, dealer charging for TSB?

thanks I fixed it

I didnt think they could charge me either, I dropped it off w printed TSB, tech said no problem, 20 minutes later they call me and say it will be $80 labor to install the new bolts.

am I at least due a set of these bolts at no charge?

They will charge you if your alignment is within specs.

They have to confirm that your truck is out of specs, otherwise they will charge you. You can buy the cam bolts online for $55, and install them yourself. It's real easy.
