MPG is a better qoute than MPT, but MPG aside, I'd rather have my tailgate up and latched and locked. Much more theft resistant. My best MPG was before my UpRev tune, it was 19 with a full load, and a cover, CAI, TBS, 2 Degree and Muffler swap.

You guys can laugh, but I got the best mpg out of my truck stock - amsoil -with the tornado - 400-420 miles to tank all day, everyday. T hen I sold the tornado, put on the banks and CAI...340 miles to tank. Man was it fast.

You mean "bed extender"? Extending the cab would be tough....

Seriously, though, the bed extender is like those mesh tailgates. A large percentage of air goes through them. It would act the same as if the tailgate were down with nothing, only it would provide a small amount of drag. Probably not a better option.

nah, he wants those side flare outs the 18 wheelers use to divert air around the trailer.. they'd be hot haha

I'm gonna lift the back end of my truck by 6 inches. That way it will always be headed down hill. It should save me tons of gas! My truck will accelerate faster when it’s headed downhill and I will be able to coast when ever I’m not in a hurry. I'm thinking of patenting the idea. Woo boy! I’m gonna be rich!
