Noob Here

Hey guys. Just purchased my first Nissan yesterday. I am the proud father of an 05 Red Brawn Titan LE 4X4 Crew. This truck only had 3000 miles on it. I couldn't be happier. I have had a GMC Siearra and a Chevy Silverado in the past, and this is by far the nicest truck I have ever owned.

Re: Noob Here

Thanks P. I found this forum yesterday, before my purchase. Spent alot of time browsing around. Now that I have made the purchase, my production today is not good. Just going throught the forums and seeing what everyone has to say about this great truck.

Re: Noob Here

Thanks Doc. I am currently riding a 99 Yamaha WR400 with all mods, yz tank and shrouds, Renthal twin walls. Ill get some pics up once I get a chance to get her loaded in the truck. Looking to buy a new ride this fall. Im partial to the yamaha WR450 (mine has been really good to me), but also considering the KX 450F off road. Mainly do trail riding, hit a track once in a while.

Thor..the KLX450 is by far the better bike. If you are partial to the WRs, then thats cool, but from what I know about the KLX450, that bike is the bike to get for off road.

Where are you located at Thor? BTW...get some pics of the bike in the bed!

Re: Noob Here

Hey Doc, Definately not apposed to the klx450. My first bike was a KLX 300, which was basically was bullet proof. It took all the abuse of a noob like a champ. When the time comes I will see how the reviews are going on the KLX, and make a decision then.

I am located in Maryville, Illinois, about 15 minutes East of Down town St. Louis, MO.

Re: Noob Here

Thor,
Cool. good riding out there? Out here in SoCal we have a ton of tracks and the desert to play...not too many woods areas.

Welcome and keep it WOT on both bike and truck!

Re: Noob Here

Doc, Great riding out here. Couple of clubs I ride: One is all single track trails (about 750 acres or so, 2 wheels only), St. Joe State Park (open to public) has a 2000 acre off road area (anything with wheels). Me and about 20 guys usually head down to Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky (has about 100 miles of trails from beginner to expert), about 3 times a year. Camping and riding for 3 straight days. Its a great time.
