Pulling a stuck rig out of mud, 4hi or 4low?

If you're trying to pull someone with an RV out of the mud (combined weight around 9,000 pounds) should a fella use 4low or 4hi?

does it cause problems to pull something in 4lo?

If you have good traction, I would definitely try 4Lo first to get the most torque. That's a heavy load, and the fact that its stuck will increase the initial pull weight as well.

Whether you pull in 4LO or 4HI, just make sure you're not pulling in reverse.
