anyone running 275/70/18 tires?

I'm considering this size when my goodyears are done. One concern is in the E load rating (seems all tires this size are E) affecting ride stiffness. Another concern is that I assume these tires would be considerably heavier than stock (how much I suppose depends on brand) and how much of an effect it will have on performance. Does anyone have firsthand knowledge of these things? Thanks for the input.

I've asked the same question in the past with no takers. However you know that the tire will stand about one half inch taller that stock 265's. A small increase in MPG with min. loss of torque. The stock tires are together rated at 5200# load capacity which is safe for over 150% truck rated load. I too would still like to have higher rated tires but no one makes them.
