19,999 for 2004 se

is this a good price? i just got back from the dealer and there going to try and work something out for me. it has 29,xxx miles on it. cc se 4x2. it seems like a good price. the xe was priced 19k with 29,xxxmiles as well. he said it was probably marked wrong but he has to honor that price so thats the price there going with. just want to make sure before i buy what you guys think.

Re: 19,999 for 2004 se

I got quoted $23,535 for a new 2007 CC SE.

I purchased an '04 Titan KC SE for $13,100 with around 64,000 on the clock. Good luck!

PS- Before anyone asks, I drive around 100 miles every week and a half or so, thus mileage wasn't too important.

Re: 19,999 for 2004 se

Dont fall for the "probably marked wrong" crap they all say that. IMO that is a bit high, but let someone else chime in that knows about 04's more. FYI, i bought my 2006 Le KC 4x2 in DEc 06 for about $24,500 out the door. They can do better. Dont hesitate to walk out. research a ton and bring in print outs of ads

Re: 19,999 for 2004 se

That seems way to high IMO. Just looking at an XE with 29K miles going for $19K tell me the other one is overpriced also. A new XE can be had for around that price.
Depending what kinda package it has I would say about $16K at the most (that's high retail IMO).

You should be able to find a new 07 SE 4x2 for about 20, before TTL.

That seems way to high for an 04. I bought my 07 KC LE w/big tow and 4x4 for 27k with 2 miles.....

LOL, that was the range I was fighting dealers with. A few dealers had some nice '04s but were around the 19-20 grand range.

A quick KBB with a stock '04 CC SE 29,000 miles shows that they sell for around $20K.

All dealers I talked to said that they won't go far from BB pricing. Is there some kind of secret to make dealers willing to go down a few grand on a used vehicle? I managed to knock off around $900 on mine but that's it! *pout*

Re: 19,999 for 2004 se

no. you dont know my situation. i need a new vehicle now. and that wasnt what i had asked. i have a baby coming in about a month. me and my girlfriend are both getting new cars. she just got an 06 accord. its about personaly prefrence too. i dont like the location of the shifter on the newer models. just asking for some help. i did more research just now and found that truck should be selling for about 18,000 on kbb. so i think i could get him down to 17k

Re: 19,999 for 2004 se

thats way too high. i have an 04 LE 4x4 loaded with 21,000 miles retail if i sell it myself would be about 21,000. tell him you have done some research and that he is smoking dope if he thinks he is going to get that kind of price!!!! that story about it being priced wrong is just that a story a BIG FAT LIE ACTUALLY.

Re: 19,999 for 2004 se

that would explain why when i bought my civic they said...i think this is priced wrong...HAHA. glad to know that. ill take the kbb with me on monday when i got back. i emailed him about it just now. i just miss a truck. i dont know why i left trucks for turbo cars...stupid but once i get a titan ill never go back down to a car...

Re: 19,999 for 2004 se

i was thinking of showing them a kbb and trying to find another dealer that has something similer and bring them that add and say match it or ill just buy from the other guys. it says if its in excellent condition that it should be 19k. also says less than 5 percent are in that area. good was about 18k. i think ill walk in on monday and say if you can get it to 16500 then ill buy it. if not then ill hold out a few months or so till i come across something
