if anyone had any problems with their titans, do you feel like nissan made it right with you? if no please explain, this is definitely not a bashing thread, i just want peoples input on their dealing with nissan..... by saying that i dont mean the dealer
im thinking maybe nissan might be good to me..... they called me today and acted like they were gonna hook me up with my losses on my truck..... no definite yes right now but i will keep you updated
I had a few minor issues, the dealer I got it from had a suck a$$ service dept. I went to a different dealer and they took care of me. So it all come down to dealers which varies in their services.
No complaints at all here. Just a dang good truck, and I'm happy to report that the service guy at the dealer that I take it to is awesome. I've had a few TSB's that had to be done, but they did them all without so much as a whimper. One recall done. No worries with it either. Great service on a great truck. This is my third Nissan, and I'm sure it won't be my last.
A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand that...

lets see.... Nissan as a company would never complain. owned a 350z prior to my titan tried to get the other half to sell her Subaru and drive the Z didn't want to let her got but eh insurance on both sucks =(. Never had any service issues or complaints with my Z but as of late the dealership has been lacking in the "customer service" department. Today for example i explained to them i had a minor vibration in my engin compartment and i already did the work for them in finding it, but i am by no means a fan of working on a vehicle that is still covered by the standard warranty and my extended. So i take the truck in told them to tighten or replace the bolts in my condenser fan. Low and behold ten minutes away from the dealership same issue pull over into mcdonalds and what..... nothing was done to the fan. So have to take it back tomorrow and pitch a *****. I can only assume it was either a new technician or service writer as the guy i used to take it too was like 70 and retired from the company when i had the 350. We shall see what happens tomorrow.
I think the majority of issues people may have are with lousy service departments at dealerships, not so much Nissan itself. Nice thing about dealers is that if you don't like the one you're at you can usually find another one (most of the time).

The Nissan rep for the Houston area is an idiot. He told me that he thought my towing was the cause of my differential failures. He asked the dealer to look for evidence of towing. I told him to start with that big old black tow package installed by the factory on my truck. I told him that he was making a mistake blaming folks here in Texas of towing abuse. I bought this monster to tow. Nissan sold me this truck to tow. I would never have bought it if I was not going to tow. For the most part , the dealers are ok. Nissan needs some work on customer service.

"Star Nissan" in Greensburg is EXCELLENT when it comes to service. They have always treated me great. I have had my bedliner resprayed twice without any hassle what-so-ever. The truck is great. No major problems.
Recently had my front brakes replaced - at my family mechanic though. He only charged my $175 to replace the pads and rotors. Nissan wanted over $580+tax.
