Wheel Spec Spreadsheet???
I'm in the process of getting started w/some mods for my truck. Starting with wheels & tires. To those of us who are not engineers, mechanics, 18 year old kids, etc., it can be a pretty daunting task. Especially if you haven't gone through this before. With backspacing, offset, diameter & width to keep track of, it can get pretty confusing
My question is...Do any of you think it would be helpful to create a spreadsheet to keep track of all the variables that have worked for other people?
I'm sure it would be helpful for all of you veterans who get tired of seeing the, "Will this tire/wheel combo work on my truck?" posts from nugs like me.
If you guys think it would be helpful, I would be willing to take all the info & put it into a spreadsheet. I'm thinking we would need to know the following:
1: Truck Year
2: Truck Model
3: Suspension Mods
4: Wheel Make
5: Wheel Model
6: Size (Dia/Wid)
7: Offset
8: BS
9: Tire Make
10: Tire Model
11: Tire Size
12: Any Mods (i.e. pinch-weld) need to make it work
If there is any other info to track, please let me know. Also, if someone else has already done this, I would be interested in seeing the results.
Obviously all info would be available to all members. I'll post on the other boards to gauge interest.
If you think it would be a total waste of time, let me know that too.
