Post 2008 Titan Fitment Thread

Seems to be a lot of questions about weather or not stuff on the 08 Titan will fit on the older models. To make it easier on everyone I think we should have ONE thread to cover everthing.

If someone has a question or knows answer's regarding this please post it here.

Some that have been asked.

Will the 08 Brakes work on older models ?
Will the 08 Seats work on older models ?

Re: 08 Titan Fitment Thread

To answer as much as I can, things that I know will fit:
08 Brakes
08 Wheels
08 Seats

As for the Intake manifold, I dont know what if anything would have been changed, as the motor's only change was the VVT

One guy is running the bigger brakes from an 07 Armada on his 05 Titan, he say it fit. So I would think it's the same brake from an 08 Titan.
Also another question I see is would the 08 fender flares fit previous year model?

Center console? I like the new clean dash look. Assuming all electrical components are still the same.

Re: 08 Titan Fitment Thread

The brakes will fit on the truck, however they might not fit on your stock wheels, definitely not if you have 17s, as even the pro-4x has 18s now.

Bluetooth = to much trouble. It is possible but you would have to buy all of the components and change out everything including the radio. It would be cheaper and easier to buy a pioneer Avic-D3 with the bluetooth option

center console, im confused on what you are asking for, the console between the seats or the center bezel of the dash?

Fender Flares = depends on how they are attached, Nissan likes to punch holes for moldings to line up, however they didnt do that with the mudguards. so if there is no extra holes in the sheet metal, then yes they should fit because the shape of the fenders has not changed. again I think this is an option that could be done for cheaper with aftermarket parts

Re: 08 Titan Fitment Thread

Yes they did punch holes in the fender to add attachment pins. They look sort of like the pins holding the upper edge of the cowl down against the glass.

I figured they did, but the flares were an addition after I had left the plant. So I guess that answers the questions about the flares.

I have been curious about that but IMO it would be a hard install as you have to mess with the Airbag. I think I asked the Parts Manager before about that and he didnt think it would work as the BCM would be different?
