Cargo Light Feature

f.y.i. I noticed something about the cargo light on my musky outing this weekend. With normal use of the key fob, the cargo light comes on and shuts off after a minute or so. This wasn't long enough, so I hit the switch on the dash to turn on the cargo light to illuminate the camp area. After about 10-15 minutes, the light would automatically shut off, which is normal.

The "feature" is when hitting the unlock button on the key fob with the cargo light switch in the "on" position, the cargo light will come on again. But this time it will stay on for another 10-15 minutes instead of the normal one minute shut off. I never knew the light would behave this way and came in very handy as remote control lighting for the camp area.

yea.. it does come in handy at times. I am glad it just doesnt stay on if you forget to turn off. Now if you leave yoru dooor open ut will not turn off

It will turn off after 30 minutes with the battery saver feature if you leave your doors open or not shut them tight.

Yes it does. Mine shut off after about 15 minutes when I had the doors open installing the sub and amp. It's a safety feature. I don't know if the timing is adjustable or not. Probably not.
