I'm Brand New, just bought a 08!
hello everybody,
i'm so fired up! finally after a long long wait i pulled the trigger today. i was going to buy a 07 but really wanted the LWB 08 so i waited until today. i live in indianapolis and i will probably be the first guy out there with the long wheel base. not a single dealer in indiana had lwb in anything but pro x in cloth and only one dealer had that! i got a dealer today to do a dealer to dealer trade with a dealership in wisconsin. i bought a galaxy black LE Crew Cab 4X4 LWB for the dealer invoice of $34,083 + $745 destination fee. they are driving up tomorrow to get it and i pick it up saturday morning!!!!!!!!!!! woo hooooooo old-school Last edited by old-school; 06-21-2007 at 06:26 PM. |

they arent gonna put it on a transport...
they are gonna put undue miles on the truck? i would tell them no or give you more money off, or throw in something in place of the extra milage either way congrats

nice, i remember on the road the other day i saw a dodge diesel pulling a 08 lwb pro4x.. not too long after that i saw one totaled on a trailer.. its was efffed up.. the drive had to have been hurt bad..

I had to have my 08 brought in to the tune of 300 miles also. I hear what your saying about the dealers not dropping anymore on the 08's. With all the 07's to clear out, and sales being down for the year. Consider that they have to pay someone to go and get the vehicle, pay for the gas, and then wash and clean it all over again. We thought about going and getting the truck ourselves until we started adding up the costs. We let the dealer pay the additional cost.
You will love the truck. I have not had the opportunity to ride in any of the previous years so I can't compare. However, the improvements on the 08 are what really sold us, In light of the Tundra, this truck (Titan) may be the most overlooked and underrated truck on the market.

Hopefully they bumped up the paint on the 08' or your gonna get some paint chips . But there inevitable anyway.

When I bought mine they delivered it on a small flatbed from Oklahoma City to Texarkana Texas for NO charge. This was the only way I would do the deal, to get it with the 6 miles on it.
