Re: tundra weak frame check out this video

Awhile back there was a Ford comparison video posted somewhere showing the Titan going through the same proving grounds. It did pretty well as I remember, the only bad thing they could say was the fuel door was popping open back and forth.

That Tundra is pathetic, TOYota!

Re: tundra weak frame check out this video

The Titan would be *****in under that test I emagine. I slammed some whoop t doos in the desert for one day at speeds up to 65mph and was totally shocked by the handling. It was like a desert racing truck.

But, since I need reliable work trucks, and when I am done with the trucks I drive the company gets them, the Titan will have to go due to the junk diffs. I was thinking Tundra, but you know those videos may have sold me on Ford. Just stay away from the Power Stroke and I should be ok.

Cheaper to invest in a trutrac than buy a new truck, if you are concerned about the rear diff.

Re: tundra weak frame check out this video

well i was looking to find the video of the titan on the test from before but ford doesnt have the truthabouttrucks website up anymore. But i found it in a go back machine link. click truth #1 and then "silver Creek Shootout" While it has the old silverado and tundra, i think the Ford and Ram are still the same frame now. http://web.archive.org/web/200609041...ks/f150/truth/
